Sometimes your journey goes in a straight line. Mine has
been a crooked path over the past 20 years. In 1993, I was Shawna Lea and I had
just graduated high school. I entered Wellesley College, but for a variety of
issues did not finish in 1997. Since then, I have worked odd jobs, temp jobs,
and fun jobs until I found a job in a law firm library. There I have worked for
the past 12 years even moving to Kentucky to continue supporting this company
and these people from the new office. Over this time, I changed names to Seanna
Lea, bought and sold a couple of homes, and had a little baby boy.
I am now a student at UKY, majoring in Computer Science.
Because I have transferred so many credits, I am in the odd position of being a
junior taking the basic core requirements. Outside of class and work, I study
hard, cook for my appreciative family, and make everything. I love to knit and
to cross-stitch, though time is always at a premium during the semester.
